Draisaitl reaches 1,000 career points against Skinner

Edmonton Oilers forward Leon Draisaitl reached his 1,000th career point during a game against the Pittsburgh Penguins, making him the fourth-fastest active NHL player to achieve this milestone. He assisted on Zach Hyman’s power-play goal and scored his 1,001th point moments later with a goal by Connor McDavid. Draisaitl is the first German-born player and the fifth in Oilers history to reach 1,000 points, with a career total of 416 goals and 585 assists in 824 games.
