The Utah Mammoth have acquired forward Joshua Roy from the Montreal Canadiens in exchange for defenseman Maksymilian Szuber and signed Roy to a one-year, two-way contract worth $850K for the 2026-27 season. Roy, 22, has been a prolific scorer in the AHL with 56 goals and 112 points over 145 games but struggled in the NHL, managing only 11 points in 38 games. Szuber, who has experience in the AHL and a brief stint in the NHL, has recorded 25 goals and 87 points in 200 AHL games. Both players will look to make an impact in their new roles as the season progresses.
