Seattle Kraken player Shane Wright, who hinted at a desire for a trade, is reportedly “fully committed” to the team as training camp approaches on September 17, according to his agent, Kurt Overhardt. While Kraken GM Jason Botterill had suggested moving Wright to a team in need of a young center, no formal trade request has been made. Wright, coming off a disappointing season, is expected to take on a top-nine center role amid limited competition. Despite interest from the Canucks and Penguins, no satisfactory trade proposal has emerged yet.
