Martin Jones, who wore number 31 for the Sharks, began his NHL career with the Los Angeles Kings as an undrafted free agent and won a Stanley Cup in 2014. After being traded to the Sharks in 2015, he achieved notable success, including a Vezina Trophy nomination and an All-Star selection. However, his performance declined in his later years, leading to a buyout in 2021 and brief stints with the Flyers, Kraken, and Maple Leafs. He transitioned to coaching as a goaltending coach for the BCHL’s Coquitlam Express following his playing career.
