Former Pittsburgh Penguins forward Kevin Hayes has signed a one-year contract with KHL team Ak Bars Kazan for the 2026-27 season. Hayes, who played two seasons with the Penguins, contributed as a depth forward, recording 8 points in 28 games last season and 23 points in 64 games the previous year. Over his 12-year NHL career, he accumulated 446 points in 805 games across five teams. Hayes will now aim to make an impact in the KHL following his NHL tenure.
