After a successful season with the Philadelphia Flyers, former Maple Leafs winger Nikita Grebenkin signed a two-year contract extension worth $1.1 million against the NHL salary cap. The 23-year-old, who previously played seven NHL games and 39 AHL games without scoring in the NHL, recorded four goals and 14 points in 55 games with the Flyers this past season. With strong competition for ice time on the Flyers roster, Grebenkin is likely to spend more time with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms in the upcoming season.
