Steve Sullivan has been appointed as the new head coach of the AHL’s Toronto Marlies, replacing John Gruden, who was promoted to an assistant role with the Maple Leafs. Sullivan, a former NHL winger with over 1,000 games played, transitioned from a development coach to the front office before returning to coaching with the Marlies. Additionally, Mark Giordano has been named a full-time assistant coach after serving in an interim role last season. Both Sullivan and Giordano bring extensive playing experience to their new coaching positions.
