The San Jose Sharks have traded the 20th overall pick in the 2026 NHL Draft to the Buffalo Sabres for defenseman Michael Kesselring and the 27th overall pick. Kesselring, 26, is a restricted free agent and had a lackluster season with Buffalo, recording only two assists in 34 games. Sharks GM Mike Grier praised Kesselring’s two-way ability and expects him to enhance the team’s defensive lineup. The Sharks continue to address their defensive needs ahead of the upcoming season.
