The San Jose Sharks have traded for forward Andre Gasseau and the 120th overall pick in the 2026 NHL Draft from the Boston Bruins, giving up the 104th and 157th picks in this month’s draft. Gasseau, 22, was drafted 213th overall by the Bruins in 2021 and played four seasons at Boston College, where he served as captain. While he is not expected to be a game-changer in the NHL, he will add depth at the AHL and ECHL levels. The Sharks must sign Gasseau by August 15 to avoid him becoming an unrestricted free agent.
