The Philadelphia Flyers aim to build on their recent playoff return, focusing on acquiring a top-six center this offseason, as discussed by GM Daniel Briere. Potential additions include former Flyer Claude Giroux, who hasn’t re-signed with Ottawa, and younger restricted free agents like Connor Bedard and Trevor Zegras, who had a breakout season. Briere expressed confidence in retaining Zegras and Jamie Drysdale while exploring goaltending options amid uncertainty surrounding Samuel Ersson. With a projected $37.5MM in cap space, the Flyers are poised to strengthen their roster for the upcoming season.
