The Boston Bruins have signed Swiss winger Attilio Biasca to a two-year contract worth $980K annually. Biasca, a standout at the World Championship, showcased his physical play despite a quiet tournament with only three points in 10 games. He previously played for HC Fribourg-Gotteron, scoring 15 goals and 27 points this season, and captained the Halifax Mooseheads in the QMJHL. Biasca is expected to start with the Providence Bruins but may move up to Boston’s roster, depending on his adaptation to the NHL’s pace.
