The New Jersey Devils are exploring trade options for veteran goaltender Jacob Markstrom, who is under contract for two more seasons at a $6 million cap hit. Acquired from the Calgary Flames in the 2024 offseason, Markstrom’s performance declined this past season, posting an .883 save percentage. The Devils also have backup Jake Allen, who recorded a .903 save percentage, while new GM Sunny Mehta looks to improve the team with $10.9 million in cap space.
