Former NHL forward Brett Ritchie has signed a contract for the 2026-27 season with Vlci Zilina in the Slovakian Extraliga. The 32-year-old, who played nearly 400 NHL games from 2014-15 to 2022-23, last appeared with the Arizona Coyotes after a trade from the Calgary Flames. Since then, he has played in various European leagues, including a stint with Sheffield in the EIHL, where he scored 12 goals in 24 games. Additionally, Norwin Panocha signed with Iserlohn Roosters in the DEL, and Aiden Dubinsky was signed by the Laval Rocket after a tryout.
