The Washington Capitals have reassigned forward Terik Parascak to their AHL affiliate, the Hershey Bears, for the playoffs following his junior team’s early exit from the WHL playoffs. Parascak, a 19-year-old who was the No. 17 pick in the 2024 draft, previously played one game for Hershey and is expected to contribute in their playoff series against the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins. Meanwhile, 19-year-old prospect Aron Dahlqvist has been signed to an ATO but is less likely to see action due to his limited North American experience. Dahlqvist was selected in the sixth round of the 2025 draft and has primarily played in Sweden’s junior league.
