There are currently three open GM positions in the NHL: Toronto, Vancouver, and Nashville, with Nashville’s vacancy known since Barry Trotz’s announcement in February. The Predators are still interviewing candidates, including Rangers assistant GM Ryan Martin, who has extensive experience but has not yet been a GM. Other candidates include Edmonton’s Bill Scott, Florida’s Brett Peterson, Carolina’s Darren Yorke, and Nashville’s Jeff Kealty, with former New Jersey GM Tom Fitzgerald also expected to be interviewed.
