The Chicago Blackhawks have signed goalie prospect Adam Gajan to a two-year, entry-level contract with a $1.05MM cap hit, starting in the 2026-27 season. Gajan, 21, recently completed his sophomore year at the University of Minnesota-Duluth, improving his performance with a .908 SV% and a 19-13-1 record after a rocky freshman year. He also excelled internationally for Slovakia, earning Best Goaltender at the 2023 World Juniors. It’s uncertain if he will debut with AHL Rockford soon, as the Blackhawks have not confirmed his roster status.
