After missing the entire 2025-26 season due to an ACL tear, Pittsburgh Penguins prospect Tanner Howe made his professional debut with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins on Sunday, recording a secondary assist in a 6-2 victory against the Lehigh Valley Phantoms. Selected 46th overall in the 2024 NHL Draft, Howe played on the second line and previously scored 18 goals and 46 points in 47 WHL games last season. Known for his physical play and responsible two-way game, Howe is expected to spend the rest of the season in the AHL barring performance changes.
