MONTREAL — Chuck Lefley, a two-time Stanley Cup champion with the Montreal Canadiens, has passed away at the age of 76. The Canadiens announced his death, which occurred in Grosse Isle, Manitoba, though no cause was provided. Drafted sixth overall in 1970, Lefley contributed to Stanley Cup victories in 1971 and 1973, tallying 45 goals and 60 assists in 174 games with the team. He later played for the St. Louis Blues, achieving a notable 43-goal season in 1975-76.
