Nashville Predators AHL goalie Magnus Chrona is set to join Swedish club Brynäs in the SHL for the 2026-27 season, as reported by Aftonbladet’s Simon Eld. Currently on a two-way contract with Nashville, Chrona is unlikely to play the required 19 NHL games this season, with veteran Matt Murray ahead in the depth chart. Chrona, a former NCAA champion, has struggled in his pro career and is currently the No. 2 goalie for the AHL Milwaukee Admirals. Additionally, Eetu Makiniemi has extended his contract with TPS Turku, and Zachary Senyshyn has terminated his contract with the Schwenninger Wild Wings in the DEL.
