The Calgary Flames have placed forward Martin Pospisil on the long-term injury list and loaned him to the AHL’s Calgary Wranglers for conditioning, as he has been sidelined with an undisclosed upper-body injury this season. Pospisil, known for his physical play and scoring ability, has recorded 12 goals and 49 points in 144 NHL games over the past two years. He was also named to Team Slovakia for the 2026 Winter Olympics and performed well in recent international competitions. His return could enhance the Flames’ scoring depth, especially if trades occur before the deadline.
