The Pittsburgh Penguins have suspended newly acquired defenseman Egor Zamula after he failed to report to their AHL affiliate, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. Zamula, acquired from the Philadelphia Flyers, has played 13 games this season, recording one assist. This incident follows a similar situation with prospect Emil Pieniniemi, who also did not report to his assigned ECHL team. Zamula is a pending restricted free agent, currently in the second year of a $1.7 million contract.
