Edwin Díaz has signed a three-year, $69 million contract with the Dodgers, which includes a $9 million signing bonus and a $14 million salary for 2024, followed by $23 million in each of the next two years. The deal raises the Dodgers’ deferred payment obligations to over $1.06 billion, with Díaz’s payments spread over several years, extending to 2047. The contract also includes performance bonuses and a conditional team option for 2029. Last season, Díaz recorded 28 saves and a 1.63 ERA with the Mets.
