Goaltender Georgi Romanov, who participated in the New Jersey Devils’ training camp on a professional tryout, has signed a one-year, two-way contract with the St. Louis Blues for the 2025-26 season and is set to be assigned to their AHL affiliate, the Springfield Thunderbirds, after the team lost Colten Ellis to waivers. Last season, Romanov played for the San Jose Sharks and recorded a 0-6-0 record in eight NHL games, while achieving an 11-6-3 record in the AHL with a .905 save percentage.
