Former Los Angeles Kings defender Jack Johnson, 38, has signed a professional tryout contract with the Minnesota Wild as he aims to extend his lengthy NHL career. Over parts of six seasons with the Kings and stints with several other teams, Johnson has accumulated 342 points in 1,228 games, averaging 0.28 points per game.
