The Detroit Red Wings have signed goalie Michal Postava to a two-year, entry-level contract, effective through the 2026-27 NHL season when he will be a restricted free agent. This move is part of Detroit’s broader strategy to address their goaltending needs, having previously acquired veterans Cam Talbot, Jack Campbell, and Petr Mrázek. Postava, 23, had a strong season in Czechia with a 23-18-0 record, a .921 SV%, and a 2.39 GAA, and is expected to start with the AHL’s Grand Rapids Griffins alongside top prospect Sebastian Cossa.
