Filip Roos Signs with Färjestad BK
Swedish defenseman Filip Roos, 26, has signed a two-year contract with Färjestad BK, bolstering their defense after finishing fourth in the SHL last season. Roos, who previously played in the NHL and AHL, expressed excitement about joining the team, noting his familiarity with the area from living in nearby Karlskoga. Färjestad sports director Rickard Wallin highlighted Roos’s two-way abilities and potential to strengthen the team’s performance, which also recently added Czech forward Radim Zohorna.
