Former NFL linebacker Steve Kiner passed away at the age of 77, as announced by the National Football Foundation. A standout at the University of Tennessee from 1967-69, Kiner earned consensus All-America honors in 1968 and was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1999. He played nine NFL seasons with the Cowboys, Patriots, and Oilers, later earning a Ph.D. in clinical psychology and establishing a mental health practice in Carrollton, Georgia.
