Core special teams player C.J. Goodwin has announced his retirement from the NFL at age 36 after an eight-season tenure with the Dallas Cowboys. Goodwin, who played all 17 games last season as a special teams captain, began his career as an undrafted free agent with the Steelers in 2014 and made his regular-season debut in 2016 with the Falcons. Over his career, he participated in 136 games, recording 94 tackles, two passes defensed, and two forced fumbles. His retirement was shared after his ninth annual PEGA Foundation All-Star Sports Camp.
