The Seattle Kraken have fired head coach Dan Bylsma after just one season, finishing with a record of 35-41-6 and missing the playoffs for the second consecutive year. This decision marks a search for the team’s third head coach in as many seasons, following the dismissal of Dave Hakstol last offseason. Bylsma, who previously coached the Pittsburgh Penguins to a Stanley Cup and was most recently the head coach of the Coachella Valley Firebirds, has now joined a number of NHL teams looking for new coaching leadership this offseason.
