The Philadelphia Flyers have loaned forward prospect Jack Berglund to Färjestad BK in the SHL for the 2026-27 season, meaning he won’t compete for a spot on the opening night roster. Drafted 51st overall in 2024, the 20-year-old Swede had a strong 2025-26 season, notably leading Team Sweden to a gold medal at the U20 IIHF World Junior Championships. After signing his entry-level contract, Berglund played five games for the AHL’s Lehigh Valley Phantoms, scoring one goal. His performance in Sweden will determine his return to North America next season.
