Forward Justin Bailey has signed a one-year contract with KHL’s Barys Astana after a lengthy career in North America. Drafted 52nd overall by the Buffalo Sabres in 2013, Bailey has primarily been an AHL scorer, with a record of 180 goals and 319 points in 509 AHL games, while tallying 10 goals and 23 points in 141 NHL games. Last season, he had a standout performance with the AHL’s San Diego Gulls, scoring 25 goals. At Barys Astana, he will reunite with former AHL teammates including Tyce Thompson and Chase Priskie.
