Outfielder Bligh Madris is close to signing with the SSG Landers in the Korea Baseball Organization after being released from a minor league deal with the Cardinals. The 30-year-old left-handed hitter excelled at Triple-A Memphis, posting a .277/.389/.519 line with 14 homers this season. A former ninth-round pick by the Pirates, he has played parts of three MLB seasons but hasn’t reached the majors since 2024. Madris is expected to replace injured outfielder Guillermo Heredia on the Landers’ roster.
