Shohei Ohtani, Major League Baseball’s standout star now with the Los Angeles Dodgers, received the most fan votes for the 2026 MLB All-Star Game but will not participate due to ongoing knee irritation. Scheduled as the National League’s starting designated hitter, he is replaced by Kyle Schwarber. The Dodgers announced Ohtani’s absence as he remains in Los Angeles for treatment. The All-Star Game is set for July 14 at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia.
