The Toronto Maple Leafs have re-signed center Ryan Tverberg to a two-way deal worth $850K for the NHL roster and $250K for the minors. The 24-year-old forward, who was a seventh-round pick in 2020, spent the majority of his time in the AHL with the Toronto Marlies, winning a Calder Cup and achieving a career-best 36 points last season. Tverberg’s strong defensive skills may make him a reliable bottom-six option for the Leafs, but he could become a Group VI unrestricted free agent next summer.
