Following the trade of Jacob Markstrom to Florida, the New Jersey Devils are set to sign goalie David Rittich to a one-year, $1MM deal to bolster their depth in net. Rittich, who played 30 games for the Islanders last season with a 2.76 GAA and .894 SV%, has a career total of 260 NHL appearances. With Jake Allen as the projected starter and Nico Daws lacking experience, the Devils may rotate through all three goalies given their current cap space of around $7.6MM.
