The Rangers have strengthened their middle-six forward group by signing Oliver Bjorkstrand to a one-year, $4.5 million contract. The 31-year-old right wing, who has consistently surpassed 30 points for the past nine seasons, recorded 12 goals and 20 assists in 80 games with Tampa Bay last season. This marks Bjorkstrand’s fourth team in his 11-year NHL career, during which he has tallied 184 goals and 232 assists over 704 games.
