Jaxson Hayes Signs with Jazz
Backup big man Jaxson Hayes has signed a two-year, $12 million contract with the Utah Jazz, with a team option for the second season. Previously with the Los Angeles Lakers, Hayes averaged 6.2 points and 3.9 rebounds during his tenure, including 7.5 points and 4.1 rebounds in the 2025-26 season. His move comes as the Lakers make significant roster changes, including the addition of Walker Kessler and others. Hayes, the No. 8 pick in the 2019 draft, spent three seasons with the Lakers after starting with the Pelicans.
