The Boston Bruins will retire the #37 jersey of former captain Patrice Bergeron during the 2026-27 season, as announced in a video featuring ex-defender Zdeno Chara. Bergeron, who played for the Bruins from 2003 to 2023, is celebrated for his leadership and exceptional skills, earning the Selke Trophy six times. He scored over 1,000 points and played a pivotal role in the Bruins’ 2011 Stanley Cup victory. His jersey will be the 14th to be honored at TD Garden.
