Yesterday, the Nashville Predators announced a significant front office shakeup, hiring Rob Blake as the new Executive Vice President of Hockey Operations while parting ways with Assistant General Manager Brian Poile. Blake, a Hockey Hall of Famer and former Kings GM, will collaborate with newly appointed GM Chris MacFarland to revamp the team’s roster ahead of the NHL Draft. This move reflects majority owner Bill Haslam’s desire for change, phasing out long-standing internal voices. The organization aims to initiate a new era in Nashville’s hockey operations.
