The Montreal Victoire took a commanding 2-0 lead in the PWHL Finals against the Ottawa Charge with a 2-1 overtime victory in Game 2, thanks to goals from Kati Tabin and Maggie Flaherty. The game, which marked the sixth consecutive Walter Cup Finals match to go into overtime, saw Flaherty score the decisive goal at 14:12, putting Montreal one win away from their first Walter Cup. Ottawa’s Sarah Wozniewicz opened the scoring early, but Tabin’s game-tying goal in the second period showcased Montreal’s depth. Game 3 will take place on Monday night in Ottawa, as the Charge face elimination.
