The Florida Panthers have suffered another setback with defenseman Dmitry Kulikov sustaining a broken finger, ruling him out for the remainder of the season. Kulikov, who had just returned from a long injury absence, played only 19 games this season without scoring. In response to the injuries, the Panthers have recalled defensemen Mikulas Hovorka and Ludvig Jansson from AHL Charlotte, leaving only two contracted blueliners not on the active roster. Hovorka has played three NHL games, while Jansson, in his first North American season, has 10 points in 29 AHL games and may soon make his NHL debut.
