The Blackhawks and Senators will play two regular-season games in Düsseldorf, Germany, on December 18 and 20, 2026, as part of the NHL’s Global Series. This marks only the second time the league has held regular-season games in Germany, following the 2011-12 season. The Senators will be participating in their third Global Series and have a strong 5-0-1 record in European games, while the Blackhawks are 1-1-1. Each team will still have 41 home games next season, as the regular season expands to 84 games under the new CBA extension.
