Yankees to Retire Sabathia’s No. 52 in September

CC Sabathia will have his No. 52 jersey retired by the New York Yankees on September 26, 2026, before a game against the Baltimore Orioles, and he will also receive a plaque in Monument Park. This honor marks him as the 25th individual to have a number retired by the franchise and the 37th player to receive a plaque.
