The Winnipeg Jets have reassigned defenseman Isaak Phillips and forward Danil Zhilkin to the AHL’s Manitoba Moose after recalling them for injury insurance. Despite their return to the Moose, the Jets remain without key players Haydn Fleury, Colin Miller, and Neal Pionk. Phillips, 24, has performed well in the AHL this season, while Zhilkin, 22, has struggled to find success in his NHL appearances. Both players will participate in tonight’s Moose game before rejoining the Jets for their next match against the Detroit Red Wings.
