The Colorado Avalanche have recalled defenseman Jack Ahcan and forward Taylor Makar from the AHL’s Colorado Eagles. Ahcan, who has shown strong performance with 41 points in 69 games last season, fills the gap left by Ilya Solovyov‘s trade and provides depth on defense with Devon Toews still injured. Makar, the younger brother of star Cale Makar, adds forward depth as key players recover from injuries. He has scored 7 goals and 13 points in 32 AHL games this season.
