Timmins, Sabres Settle On A Two-Year Contract Extension

Just under a week before salary arbitration, the Buffalo Sabres and defenseman Conor Timmins agreed to a two-year, $4.4 million contract extension. Acquired from the Penguins, Timmins, who had a 15-point season, saw his salary double to an AAV of $2.2 million, ranking fifth among Sabres blueliners, while the team still needs to address the contract of restricted free agent goalie Devon Levi.
