Longtime AHL Syracuse Crunch captain Gabriel Dumont has announced his retirement from professional hockey at age 34, concluding a 15-season career. Drafted by the Montreal Canadiens in 2009, he recorded 202 goals and 459 points in 747 AHL games, as well as four goals in 90 NHL games across various teams, and his best season was in 2021-22 with 30 goals and 62 points.
