Sharks Re-sign Shakir Mukhamadullin
The San Jose Sharks have re-signed defenseman Shakir Mukhamadullin to a one-year, $1 million contract. The 23-year-old, who split last season between the NHL and AHL, recorded two goals and seven assists in 30 NHL games, playing significant minutes in his final games. Mukhamadullin, a first-round draft pick by the New Jersey Devils in 2020, was traded to the Sharks in 2023 as part of the deal for Timo Meier.
