The Rockies have outrighted infielder Alan Trejo to Triple-A Albuquerque after he cleared waivers following his designation for assignment, but he has chosen to elect free agency. Trejo, who struggled offensively with a .175 batting average in 43 plate appearances, has a career line of .224/.269/.325 over 512 plate appearances, excelling defensively at second and third base. Meanwhile, infielder Owen Miller was also outrighted but has not yet opted for free agency, remaining in the Rockies’ system for now.
