Baltimore Orioles third baseman Jordan Westburg will undergo season-ending elbow surgery due to a partially torn UCL and an oblique injury that has kept him off the field this season. Although he was cleared to throw in early April, he was shut down on May 4 due to renewed discomfort. Westburg, 27, has been a key player for the Orioles, recording a .264 batting average with 38 home runs and 127 RBIs over his first three seasons. In his absence, Coby Mayo, Blaze Alexander, and Weston Wilson have filled the third-base role.
